My work is about the visual world....part real and part fantasy. Many of my paintings are descriptive of the world I live in, like the bosque, birds, and nature. I am an intuitive artist, more impressionistic and working until I am happy with the results in a painting. I love high chroma (bright color) art. I have worked in different mediums, encaustic, cold wax and oil, photos. I am painting with oils, alla prima, working translucent to opaque which gives paintings a glow. My newest venture are photographs of the world around us. The photos can be ordered in different sizes and finishes.
Many of the paintings you will see available here are smaller than the ones that appear in room settings. They can certainly, by request, be painted larger.
